Moving on
It is more than a month since I moved to my new Condo, which I now call HOME. My youngest son's intrepretation of 'home' means there is internet connectivity and Astro. Otherwise he is reluctant to call it home.
He is so attached to his computer that he is restless when there is a breakdown of internet connections or when there is temporary disturbances on Astro. So in order to satisfy his 'cravings' I have no choice but to install these two objects in my home.
Well I cannot really blame him for this. He was brought up to surf the internet since he was two years old. He knew no other games but computer games.
He knew no other friends but the internet, that even our neighbours do not know whether he is at home or not. He seldom leaves his room, stuck infront of his computer from dusk to dawn, leaving it only when lunch or dinner is served. or when his favourite reallity TV shows is on.
My home is now almost complete. I have managed to move most of my needs, but still have to leave a lot of things behind
I am happy here, but of course I miss my beatiful gardens, fruit trees and our fish Oscar.
My eldest daughter and her children are here. So my life is almost complete though I wish I could bring all my books and other artifacts with me. But it is quite impossible as this place has limited capacity.
The serenity and the peacefulness of its environment fills my heart with joy. I love to stay by the window and watch the gentle breeze making gentle ripples in the yellowish muddy river below. Sometimes I saw small sampans passing by, so pituresques and beautiful.
The trees and the little houses across the river , seems like paintings on canvas coming alive so strangely vivid and harmonious with each other.
Only this time it is painted by the mighty Creator Himself, so perfectly graceful and beautiful.
